  • Employment contracts;
  • Commercial transactions (including sale of shares, business or assets);
  • Business structuring (shareholders agreements, unitholders agreements, joint ventures);
  • Complex contracts;
  • Corporate governance; and
  • Commercial litigation.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advising registered training organisations (“RTOs”) on internal review of Australian Skills Quality Authority decisions;
  • Advising RTOs on government funding contracts;
  • Acting for RTOs in seeking review of decisions of the Australian Skills Quality Authority in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal;
  • Advising universities on the implementation of a complex software system and drafting software implementation agreement;
  • Acting for the vendor in a $5m+ business transfer;
  • Acting for the purchaser in a $10m+ share transfer;
  • Acting for the vendor in a $10m+ business transfer;
  • Representing the defendant in an application for security for costs (Admiralty Resources NL v Australis Mining Ltd [2015] VSC 33);
  • Acting for employers in complex workplace investigations; and
  • Acting for an employer in defending a general protections claim which included allegations of sexual harassment.
